By participating in the Bolt Pharmacy Referral Program ("Program"), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.
1. Program overview
The Bolt Pharmacy Referral Program allows existing customers to earn rewards by referring new customers to our services. Participants ("Advocates") can earn £40 rewards when successfully referred friends ("Friends") make qualifying purchases.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Advocate Eligibility:
- Must be an existing Bolt Pharmacy customer with at least one completed order
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have a valid UK address
- Account must be in good standing with no outstanding disputes or violations
- Must refer only personal contacts with whom they have a genuine personal relationship
2.2 Friend Eligibility:
- Must be a new customer who has never placed an order with Bolt Pharmacy
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have a valid UK address
- Must be approved for prescription medication by Bolt Pharmacy clinicians
3. How the Program Works
3.1 Referral Process:
- Advocates receive a unique referral link through their account
- Friends must use the referral link to complete their first purchase
- If a friend uses multiple referral links, only the last-clicked link will be credited. The friend must complete their purchase directly through the referral link (referral link → consultation → checkout → payment) for the referral to qualify.
- Friends receive £40 off their first qualifying purchase
3.2 Reward Distribution:
- Advocates receive £40 rewards once we've confirmed the friend's medication has been delivered. Processing may take 1-2 days.
- If the friend's order cannot be fulfilled for any reason, the order is not eligible for rewards
- Rewards are valid for 6 months from issue date
- Multiple rewards can be stacked and used on a single order (no limit)
- Rewards are non-transferable and tied to the Advocate's registered email address
4. Restrictions and Limitations
4.1 Usage Limits:
- No maximum limit on referrals, but each friend can only be referred once
- Advocates cannot refer themselves using different accounts or identities
4.2 Sharing Guidelines:
- Referral links may only be shared privately with individuals known personally to the Advocate
- Public posting of referral links on social media, forums, or websites is strictly prohibited
- Advocates must not mention specific prescription medication names in referral communications
- Advocates must not provide medical advice or discuss medication dosages/side effects
4.3 Prohibited Activities:
- Using automated systems, bots, or scripts to generate referrals
- Creating fake accounts or using false information
- Engaging in spam or unsolicited marketing
- Violating advertising standards for prescription medicines
- Purchasing advertising space to promote referral links
- Offering additional incentives beyond the program rewards
- Operating as an affiliate marketer, influencer, or professional promoter to generate referral conversions
- Using referral links as part of any commercial or income-generating activity
- Promoting referral links through paid advertising, sponsored content, or marketing campaigns
- Referring individuals with whom you do not have a genuine personal relationship
- Systematic or mass distribution of referral links
- Creating and broadcasting content primarily designed to drive referral conversions
5. Medical and Legal Compliance
5.1 Prescription Medicine Advertising:
- All referral activities must comply with UK medical advertising regulations
- Advocates cannot advertise prescription medicines to the general public
- Personal experience sharing is permitted but must not encourage specific medical treatment-seeking behaviour
5.2 Data Protection:
- Advocates must only share links with individuals who have consented to receive them
- Personal data must be handled in accordance with GDPR and our Privacy Policy
- Advocates acknowledge that all customer information is confidential and protected under data protection legislation. Bolt Pharmacy will not disclose any details regarding friend orders, consultations, prescriptions, or personal information to advocates, except for confirmation of qualifying purchase completion for reward purposes.
6. Disqualification and Violations
6.1 Immediate Disqualification:
Bolt Pharmacy reserves the right to immediately disqualify participants and void rewards for:
- Fraudulent activity or misrepresentation
- Violating advertising standards for prescription medicines
- Spam or aggressive marketing tactics
- Creating multiple accounts to circumvent program rules
- Any activity deemed harmful to Bolt Pharmacy's reputation or operations
- Commercial use of referral links or operating as an affiliate/influencer marketer
- Systematic referral generation or treating the program as a business opportunity
- Referring individuals without genuine personal relationships
- Using referral links in conjunction with paid advertising or promotional campaigns
6.2 Investigation Process:
- Bolt Pharmacy may investigate suspicious referral activity
- Participants must cooperate with investigations and provide requested information
- Decisions regarding violations are final and at Bolt Pharmacy's sole discretion
7. Modifications and Termination
7.1 Program Changes:
- Bolt Pharmacy may modify these Terms, reward amounts, or program structure at any time
- Changes will be communicated via email and posted on our website with reasonable advance notice
- Outstanding rewards earned but not yet due for payment may be subject to modified terms, including changes to reward amounts, expiration dates, or redemption conditions
- Continued participation constitutes acceptance of modified Terms
7.2 Promotional Offers
Bolt Pharmacy may periodically run time-limited promotions offering enhanced rewards or other incentives as part of the Program. The following conditions apply to all promotions:
- Promotions may be made available to all participants or to a selected group of customers only
- Eligibility criteria and reward terms for each promotion will be communicated at the time of the offer via email, the Bolt website, or the app
- Promotional rewards are subject to these Terms unless otherwise stated in the promotion's specific terms
- Promotions apply only to referrals made during the active promotion period. They cannot be applied retrospectively to referrals made before the promotion began, or to referrals made after it ends, unless an extension is explicitly announced.
- Bolt Pharmacy reserves the right to modify or withdraw any promotion at any time without prior notice
- First Referral Enhanced Reward
- From 29 May 2026, Advocates who have not previously earned a referral reward will receive £80 for their first qualifying referral, in place of the standard £40. This enhanced reward applies once per account and is a limited-time promotion. Bolt Pharmacy reserves the right to withdraw or modify this offer at any time without prior notice, in accordance with section 7.2. All other terms remain unchanged.
7.3 Program Termination:
- Bolt Pharmacy may suspend or terminate the Program at any time without prior notice
- Outstanding rewards earned before termination will be honoured
- No compensation is owed for future potential referral rewards
8. Referral Reward Terms
8.1 Reward Validity:
- Rewards expire 6 months from issue date
- Rewards have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash
- Rewards are void if transferred, sold, or duplicated
- Multiple rewards may be stacked and used on a single order
8.2 Reward Restrictions:
- Cannot be combined with certain promotional offers (restrictions will be stated at checkout)
- Cannot be applied to delivery charges, taxes, or fees
- Cannot be used for prescription consultation fees
- Rewards must be applied at checkout during your medication reorder through your Bolt Hub
- Rewards cannot be retroactively applied or used on the regular sales pages outside the Bolt Hub
9. Order Validation and Refunds
9.1 Qualifying Orders:
- Friend orders must be completed and delivered to qualify
- Orders cancelled before dispatch do not qualify for rewards
9.2 Refund Impact:
- If a friend's order is fully refunded, associated referral rewards are void
- Bolt Pharmacy may deactivate voided rewards from refunded rewards
10. Technical Issues
10.1 Tracking Problems:
- Referral links must be used correctly for proper tracking
- Technical failures in tracking do not guarantee reward payment
- Bolt Pharmacy will aid in investigating tracking issues and may facilitate manual tracking
- Common tracking issues: using different devices, browser security features, not completing purchase through referral link
10.2 System Limitations:
- Program availability subject to technical system functionality
- Bolt Pharmacy is not liable for technical failures preventing participation
11. Liability and Disclaimers
11.1 Limited Liability:
- Bolt Pharmacy's liability is limited to the value of earned rewards
- No liability for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
- Program participation is at participant's own risk
11.2 Indemnification:
- Participants indemnify Bolt Pharmacy against claims arising from their referral activities
- This includes regulatory violations or misrepresentation in referral communications
12. General Provisions
12.1 Governing Law:
- These Terms are governed by English and Welsh law
- Any disputes subject to exclusive jurisdiction of English and Welsh courts
12.2 Severability:
- If any provision is deemed invalid, remaining provisions remain in full effect
- Invalid provisions will be replaced with enforceable equivalents where possible
12.3 Entire Agreement:
- These Terms constitute the complete agreement regarding the referral program
- Supersedes all prior communications or agreements regarding referrals

- "Referral Link": Unique tracking URL generated for each Advocate
- "Advocate": An existing Bolt Pharmacy customer who shares their referral link with others
- "Friend": A new customer who uses a referral link to make their first purchase with Bolt Pharmacy
- "Reward": A discount code issued to one-time purchase customers as a referral reward
By participating in the Bolt Pharmacy Referral Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
